Over 600 engineers of all skill levels participated in the league, creating over 1,600 models on the console and training for 5,831 hours. The physical race, which was held on February 25, 2023, saw the top 10 teams compete for the winning spots in a 5-hour race. The individual or team with the fastest lap time won the race.The winner of the league in Pakistan will win the coveted trip to “AWS re:Invent” held in Las Vegas for a chance to compete for the AWS DeepRacer League Championship Cup, and a shot at the $20,000 championship prize purse.
The AWS DeepRacer League provides engineers with hands-on experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and reinforcement learning, allowing them to put their skills to the test in an autonomous car racing environment.
